In Preliminary Design

Renee Woods Architect is proud to be working with the Whangamatā community on the design of the new Community Marae and Wellbeing Hub. This project brings together a shared vision for connection, culture, and support — combining the Whangamatā Community Marae with vital community services including Whangamatā Community Services, Menzshed, the Arts Collective, and the Whangamatā Resource Recovery Trust. Following a successful feasibility stage, we are now progressing the next stages of design, working closely with mana whenua and the wider community to create a welcoming, sustainable space that will serve Whangamatā for generations to come.
